Industrial Business Intelligence-l\u00f8sningen baserer seg p\u00e5 prosessdatabasen Proficy Historian fra GE Vernova, og relasjonsdatabasen Microsoft SQL Server. Maskinene inkluderer blant annet valser, sakser og ildlinjer. I produksjonsprosessen benyttes ogs\u00e5 ovner med ulike varmesoner, hvor n\u00f8kkeltallene for temperatur, hastighet og duggpunkt er spesielt viktig. Med Industrial Business Intelligence-l\u00f8sningen blir informasjon om hele produksjonsprosessen logget kontinuerlig.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Tidligere var det krevende for Sandvik Materials Technology \u00e5 finne prosessdata, men i dag har omtrent 25 ansatte tilgang til Industrial Business Intelligence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>\u2013 Vi har et mer komplett bilde over produksjonsprosessen, og datatilgjengeligheten har \u00f8kt betydelig. Mye data genereres p\u00e5 kort tid, og en stor utfordring var valseverkene som krever at informasjonen logges raskt. Tidligere kom informasjonen som en grafstrimmel hvor det var vanskelig \u00e5 finne korrekt data, samtidig som individuell oppf\u00f8lging var tidkrevende. De hadde behov for en l\u00f8sning tilpasset metallproduksjon, samtidig som verkt\u00f8yet m\u00e5tte v\u00e6re fleksibelt og enkelt \u00e5 bruke.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>L\u00f8sningen ble Industrial Business Intelligence, et verkt\u00f8y for datainnsamling og analyse som gj\u00f8r at Sandvik Materials Technology har f\u00e5tt oversikt over produksjonsprosessen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>\u2013&nbsp;Det har betydd et nytt paradigme for oss, vi jobber n\u00e5 med ny kunnskap. I tillegg har vi f\u00e5tt en dypere forst\u00e5else for b\u00e5de prosesser og maskiner, Edstr\u00f6m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Takket v\u00e6re Industrial Business Intelligence kan Sandvik Materials Technology jobbe mer proaktivt, med mulighet til \u00e5 forutsi n\u00e5r noe kommer til \u00e5 g\u00e5 galt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>\u2013&nbsp;Vi har tidligere v\u00e6rt reaktive i v\u00e5r m\u00e5te \u00e5 jobbe p\u00e5, men med Industrial Business Intelligence har vi f\u00e5tt mulighet til \u00e5 jobbe proaktivt med kvalitetsproblemer.
