Med en omfattande sk\u00e4rg\u00e5rd \u00e4r ytan i kommunen liten och erbjuder speciella utmaningar f\u00f6r vatten- och avloppsindustrin. Det betyder \u00f6ver 20 000 datapunkter, spridda \u00f6ver fem servrar.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Naturligtvis st\u00e4ller vi strikta krav p\u00e5 system som m\u00e5ste hantera en s\u00e5 stor m\u00e4ngd data. Det \u00e4r inte m\u00e5nga system som kan hantera det h\u00e4r, men vi har nu en mycket bra l\u00f6sning, s\u00e4ger Preben Karlsen, systemchef i Arendal kommun.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Med ett s\u00e5dant signalomr\u00e5de \u00e4r utmaningarna s\u00e4rskilt stora f\u00f6r att hantera historia. Proficy Historian fr\u00e5n GE Digital \u00e4r utformad f\u00f6r att hantera stora m\u00e4ngder data utan att p\u00e5verka prestanda. Detta ger driftspersonal och andra anst\u00e4llda snabb \u00e5tkomst till data f\u00f6r rapportering, trend och analys. IDUS \u00e4r \u00f6ppet och flexibelt, med m\u00f6jlighet att implementera b\u00e5de periodiskt och tillst\u00e5ndsbaserat underh\u00e5ll. Den t\u00e4ta integrationen s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller effektiv och snabb \u00e5tkomst till underh\u00e5llsrelaterad information, funktioner och uppgifter. Registreringar och andra uppgifter g\u00f6rs direkt i Proficy iFIX.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Med teknisk expertis var Preben Karlsen sj\u00e4lv huvudarkitekten bakom systemarkitekturen och integrationen mellan systemen. Han och teamet har utf\u00f6rt stora delar av konfigurationsarbetet f\u00f6r b\u00e5de operationscentret och underh\u00e5llssystemet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Den n\u00e4ra integrationen mellan systemen ger oss ett antal f\u00f6rdelar och bidrar utan tvekan till optimal och kostnadseffektiv drift. Dessutom g\u00f6r v\u00e5r tekniska expertis oss mer oberoende och ger oss ett unikt \u00e4gande av l\u00f6sningarna, forts\u00e4tter Karlsen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Drift- och underh\u00e5llspersonal \u00e4r utrustad med handdatorer f\u00f6r \u00f6kad flexibilitet.
