Maskinerna inkluderar rullar, saxar och eldlinor. I produktionsprocessen anv\u00e4nds ocks\u00e5 kaminer med olika v\u00e4rmezoner d\u00e4r nyckeltalen f\u00f6r temperatur, hastighet och daggpunkt \u00e4r extra viktiga. Mycket data genereras p\u00e5 kort tid och en stor utmaning var valsverken som kr\u00e4ver att informationen loggas snabbt. Tidigare kom informationen som en grafremsa d\u00e4r det var sv\u00e5rt att hitta korrekta data, samtidigt som individuell uppf\u00f6ljning var tidskr\u00e4vande. De beh\u00f6vde en l\u00f6sning anpassad f\u00f6r metallproduktion, samtidigt som verktyget m\u00e5ste vara flexibelt och l\u00e4tt att anv\u00e4nda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>L\u00f6sningen var Industrial Business Intelligence, ett verktyg f\u00f6r datainsamling och analys som ger Sandvik Materials Technology en \u00f6verblick \u00f6ver produktionsprocessen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Det har inneburit ett nytt paradigm f\u00f6r oss, vi jobbar nu med ny kunskap. Dessutom har vi f\u00e5tt en djupare f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r b\u00e5de processer och maskiner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Tack vare Industrial Business Intelligence kan Sandvik Materials Technology arbeta mer proaktivt, med f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ga n\u00e4r n\u00e5got kommer att g\u00e5 fel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-md paragraph  \">\n<p>Vi har tidigare varit reaktiva i v\u00e5rt s\u00e4tt att arbeta, men med Industrial Business Intelligence har vi haft m\u00f6jlighet att arbeta proaktivt med kvalitetsproblem.
