Structured data for the entire organization

Usable machine data

Data without context is hard to trust and even harder to use! That’s why Intelligence Hub takes raw signals and turns them into structured information right at the source. This way, your OT and IT teams finally have a common ground to start from.

This is what you get with Intelligence Hub:

A user-friendly interface where the OT team can contribute directly, without programming or being dependent on IT

Common models for your data regardless of device or site

Clean and contextualized data that Analytics & AI can use directly

Data prepared at the source, without the need for post-processing

A complete UNS (Unified Namespace) solution

The more systems, sensors, and teams you have, the harder it becomes to get a unified view of all your data. That’s why a Unified Namespace creates a common structure where your data is organized, easily accessible, and always up to date.

This is what you get with Intelligence Hub:

A unified architecture that allows IT and OT to build on the same foundation

“ A single source of truth ” for real-time data

More time to use data for analysis and improvements, instead of spending time creating and maintaining integrations

Deliver the right information to every system

Each application expects data in its own format. For example, MES wants one structure, your cloud platform another, and analytics tools often need something in between. That’s why ‘pipelines’ in Intelligence Hub take your modeled data and automatically shape it for each recipient. This way, you can work quickly, without having to write scripts or create custom connections.

This is what you get with Intelligence Hub:

Automatic sharing of information between IT and OT

Payloads that match the structure each system requires

Reliable pipelines for your data flows

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I integrate HighByte with existing systems (IT/OT)?

HighByte Intelligence Hub acts as a bridge between OT and IT . It can connect to PLCs, SCADA, Historians, MES, ERP and Cloud via standard connectors such as OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, REST and SQL. The result is that you can easily map, model and contextualize data without writing code . This makes it easy to achieve consistent and scalable integration between OT and IT across the enterprise.

Is HighByte designed to run in the Cloud, on-premises or as a hybrid?

You can run on the Edge, in virtual machines, containers, and in Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Many users choose hybrid solutions : data is collected and modeled on the Edge, and then published on-premises and to analytics platforms in the Cloud.

Can you tell us more about how HighByte supports Unified Namespace architectures (UNS)?

Unified Namespace (UNS) is a common data store for industrial data. HighByte makes it easy to create a UNS: you can model and contextualize data before sending it via MQTT or Sparkplug B. The platform also has a built-in MQTT broker for on-premises solutions, making it easy to build and maintain a scalable industrial data infrastructure .

How does HighByte Intelligence Hub integrate with MQTT?

HighByte can both send and receive data via MQTT . It can connect to brokers such as HiveMQ, EMQX or Mosquitto, or use its built-in broker for local installations. Data can be sent in structured formats, such as JSON or Sparkplug B, to designated “topics”. This makes it easy to share industrial data in a smart way and create reliable, event-driven data pipelines.

What is MCP and how does HighByte support it?

HighByte supports Model Context Protocol (MCP), a relatively new standard that enables industrial data to be connected to AI. This means your data and models can be used more intelligently by AI .

What security standards and protocols does HighByte Intelligence Hub follow?

The system supports secure communication via TLS/SSL for MQTT and HTTPS for REST, and offers
user management with roles and login via SAML or Active Directory/LDAP. In addition, configurations can be moved securely between different environments . All this makes it easy to comply with OT/IT security and governance requirements.

How is HighByte Intelligence Hub licensed?

HighByte Intelligence Hub is available as
an annual subscription and is licensed per site. This in turn provides unlimited connections, data models and pipelines. All features, including the built-in MQTT broker, OPC UA connectivity and UNS capabilities, are included.

Is there a possibility for Proof of Concept (PoC) or testing before purchase?

HighByte offers test and PoC licenses so you can run Intelligence Hub in your own environment. You can try out real data integrations, build UNS, and test MQTT communication.
