ROB-EX Scheduler is now Proficy Scheduler
GE Vernova acquired ROB-EX Scheduler in December 2024. Now, the production scheduling tool has been named Proficy Scheduler and has become part of the Proficy family. The new name is in place in both web and desktop clients.
The Proficy Scheduler can either be used as a standalone solution or as part of GE Vernova’s Proficy Smart Factory MES.

Proficy Scheduler Operator Improvements
Route Information for a listed operation can now be displayed in the Operator View. This makes it easy for the operator to see which resources are being used in parallel with the operation. For example, when operations are running in parallel, the operator can quickly see what resources are involved and plan accordingly.
Same runtime language for Web Planner and Desktop client
Web Planner now supports the same runtime language as the desktop client:
- Initial Translations are machine-generated with continuous improvements based on feedback.
- New Constraints Editor: Provides access to graphical display and modification of constraints at both route level and individual operation level.
- The Muli-edit Capability has been extended to more Tables, including Materials and Projects.
- The “Planning backward from specific date” planning activity has been added to Web Planner.
- User-friendly Import Wizard supports csv file import.
