HighByte has released Intelligence Hub 4.2. An update full of new features that make it easier to manage, contextualize, and share OT data securely and efficiently.

HighByte Intelligence Hub 4.2 Highlights:
Model Context Protocol (MCP) support
Activate an MCP server directly through the REST settings and expose Pipelines as tools for AI agents.
Git integration
Backup and manage projects via Git, manually or automatically.
OpenTelemetry (OTel)
Publish JVM metrics, event logs, and statistics for better insight and monitoring.
LLM and AI support
Create and contextualize data using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Amazon Bedrock—both through the cloud and on-premises models.

Important bug fixes and security patches
The new version also fixes several security flaws and bugs:
- Updates to Sparkplug, OPC UA, SQL, and Namespace management
- Improved error messages for easier troubleshooting
- Updates to CVEs related to cache poisoning, SSRF, credential leakage, Kafka clients, and the Parquet connector.
Important!
Version 4.2 now preserves spaces in parameter values, which can affect templates and parameters that contain unintended spaces. Double-check your templates to avoid errors when reading.
