This privacy policy is intended to inform users of the SmartDirect app about how their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) may be used.

What personal information do we collect from the people that use the app?

We (Novotek) do not collect or store any personal data through the SmartDirect app.

However, when you register your device with a SCADA server via the app, your device ID and phone no/email address may be transmitted to that server. This is required in order to identify and authorize your device within the SCADA system.

Who controls the data on the SCADA server?

The SCADA server is owned and operated by your organization or system administrator, not by Novotek. Any personal data transmitted to the SCADA server is managed according to the policies and procedures of that organization.

If you have questions about how your data is stored, processed, or protected on the SCADA server, please contact your system administrator or the organization responsible for the SCADA system.
