Novotek Q2 2025: CEO’s Comments
Following requests from shareholders and other stakeholders, we are pleased to provide an English version of the CEO’s statement from our Q2 Interim Report, originally published in Swedish.

The year so far has been characterized by continued global uncertainty and geopolitical tensions, although to a lesser extent than during the first quarter. Many investment decisions are taking longer than usual, with an increasing number of decision-makers involved even in relatively small projects. At the same time, certain initiatives remain more resilient. As previously noted, investments in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security continue to attract strong interest, and demand for our offerings within Industrial Data Operations and Business Resilience remains solid.
However, many projects are being initiated on a smaller scale than originally planned, which has contributed to uneven resource utilization across several of our teams.
Novotek’s offerings are positioned at the center of powerful long-term growth trends. For decades, industrial companies have invested heavily in automation systems, control systems, sensors, and production facilities. The next phase is about enabling data to move seamlessly between systems, people, and business processes. This is where Novotek plays a vital role.
We sometimes describe ourselves as “the plumbers of industrial data”. Just as modern societies depend on reliable water infrastructure, today’s industries depend on robust data flows. When information can move securely and efficiently throughout an organization, companies gain the foundation for higher productivity, better resource utilization, and stronger competitiveness. This enables our customers to realize the full value of their investments in areas such as automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
Our expansion into new geographic markets continues. As previously communicated, this recently resulted in the acquisition of Servitecno Srl on July 30. The acquisition represents another step in our strategy to deliver our key vendors’ products to new markets. Servitecno Srl has for many years been a distributor of Velotic’s and AMDT’s products in Italy and generates annual revenues exceeding EUR 6 million with strong profitability.
Our ambition is to continue developing the business based on its existing strengths while complementing its offering with products, services, and expertise from across the Novotek Group. This will create additional opportunities for growth and value creation.
The acquisition further strengthens our relationship with Velotic and reinforces our position as one of the company’s most important partners. During the quarter, we held several meetings with Velotic’s management team and see promising opportunities to expand our cooperation even further. As Velotic’s largest partner in Europe and one of its largest partners globally, we are well positioned to continue our joint growth journey and support the company’s ambition to become the world’s leading independent provider of industrial software.
